Nursing Skills and Vocational Training:
Our organization is actively seeking individuals who are dedicated to serving vulnerable communities. We dispatch them to hospitals and nursing homes across different locations for either short-term or long-term full-time service. The purpose is to pass on technical skills and professional ethics, enhance the professional knowledge and abilities of our colleagues, and cultivate good psychological qualities and empathy.
Currently, our organization is engaged in voluntary work at a vocational training school, a nursing home, and a hospital within the country. We arrange for doctors, nurses, administrative staff, chefs, maintenance technicians, social workers, and chaplains to provide their services in these institutions.
Community Care, Volunteer Training:
In response to the needs of the social environment, our organization conducts various activities to express our concern for individuals in need. In recent years, we have organized events such as “Blessing Through Meals” and distributed masks and testing kits, among other initiatives. We believe in the importance of prevention, and therefore, we also offer health education lectures and courses to help improve public health. Information and registration details for these lectures and courses will be posted on the homepage of our website.
To create a caring society, it is essential to develop sustainable volunteer services. Through organizing volunteer activities, we aim to enrich the lives of our volunteers while providing support to organizations in need, such as hospitals and nursing homes. We also provide training for our volunteers to enhance their service abilities and ensure the quality of their service. In addition to arranging one-time volunteer service opportunities, we encourage volunteers to engage in long-term service at the same hospital or nursing home.
Medical & Elderly Services:Caring for the elderly and the sick is a major focus of our organization’s work. We organize a team of volunteers who visit hospitals to provide companionship and support to patients, addressing their emotional needs and offering counseling. After their discharge, we also conduct home visits to elderly individuals who lack caregivers, providing health checks and nursing care. In some cases, we even offer soothing massages to those experiencing pain, aiming to bring warmth and comfort to the elderly.
Beyond Hong Kong:Our organization has a global perspective, and in addition to our work in Hong Kong and China, we also respond to humanitarian needs worldwide. Over the past few years, we have organized medical teams to provide voluntary medical services in Myanmar and Israel. We have donated oxygen concentrators to South Asian regions and sent tents to Syria and Turkey. These efforts reflect our commitment to extending our assistance beyond local borders and providing relief where it is needed most.
